Sony Honda Showcases Afeela Electric Car At CES, Las Vegas, Driven By Remote On Stage

Sony displayed the synergy it is creating between its various media, gaming and entertainment brands at the CES 2024 in Las Vegas. The electronics major displayed Afeela, the first electric car from its joint venture with Honda. The car was driven on the stage using a PlayStation 5 controller. The car uses Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5.3 to power the 3-D graphics and visuals that fill its massive dashboard display. Drivers and passengers will be treated to detailed 3D maps, virtual spaces and augmented reality views of the world around the Afeela.
